Drafts and publishing

A post stays a draft until you make it active, so you can leave something half-finished without it appearing on your site. Nothing is published by accident. Turning a live post back to draft removes it from your site immediately, which is the fastest way to deal with something you have thought better of and better than deleting it while you decide.
